THE WRITING TOOLBAR - YELLOW

The Writing Toolbar helps you to create and/or edit documents.   You can cut, copy, paste, spell check, or find a specific word.  Outlines can be created to help you manage text.  Word prediction mode can be turned on to assist struggling writers and spellers.  The homophones button can be used to verify the correct usage of the word in your document by providing various definitions of words that sound the same.

 

THE STUDY SKILLS TOOLBAR - PINK

 

The Study Skills Toolbar allows you to add a bookmark, a text note, or a voice note to text.  You also have access to a dictionary (basic or standard) and a thesaurus.  If experiencing difficulties with specific words, you can choose to spell a word aloud or break it down into syllables.  The highlighting button enables you to highlight text which can then be selected and moved to create lists, outlines, study guides, etc.
